Didi’s Wardrobe is an online consignment store that connects buyers and sellers of new and gently used Indian clothing, costume jewelry and accessories for women, men and children. Many of us have beautiful saris and kurtas hanging in our closets that are in practically perfect condition because they’ve only been worn a handful of times. Yet, when the next wedding or social event rolls around, we still feel the urge to wear something new. Now, using Didi’s Wardrobe, you can sell your “old” outfits and not feel guilty about picking out something new, or just “new” to you! Didi’s Wardrobe creates the perfect solution for both buyers and sellers of Indian clothing and accessories. It's the best place to find cheap Indian clothing, but not sacrificing on the quality!
Didi's Wardrobe provides a place for people to buy Indian and Pakistani apparel and accessories at a fraction of the cost. Sellers have an avenue to post their items and monetize on clothing and accessories that they don’t plan to wear again, while buyers can pick up beautiful “new” outfits at a fraction of the retail cost. You can finally buy that perfect Indian Saree for your next event without breaking the bank!
Share your gently used lehengas with someone else in the Didi’s Wardrobe online community and use that money to find the perfect sari or sherwani for your next event. With Didi’s Wardrobe, the only thing better than buying new clothes is making money selling items you no longer wear! So, what’s in your closet? Register here to get started now!
The co-founders of Didi’s Wardrobe met in New York City and have been close friends for over ten years. In that time, they attended more South Asian social events and weddings than they could keep count of. Too often, they found themselves struggling with an age-old dilemma - a closet full of saris, lehengas and salwars, but nothing to wear. After all, even though these Indian outfits were beautiful and unique (not to mention expensive), it was hard to get more than a few wears out of them before everyone they knew (and friends of friends on Facebook) had seen them! Unable to justify new purchases while clothes in practically mint condition collected dust, they did what most anyone would do and started sharing their Indian clothing with each other. After they had exhausted all of the saris and lehengas in both of their wardrobes, inspiration struck! They couldn’t possibly be the only two fashionistas facing this problem. What if they had access to not only each other’s closets but also the closets of all of their South Asian “sisters” across the country? And that’s how Didi’s (Hindi for “Sister’s”) Wardrobe was born.
